Touched my heart

After a long time....almost 10 months after....I am sharing this heart touching post, which I found on google+. Thanks compassion

_________________________________________________________

When an old man died in the geriatric ward of a nursing home in an Australian country town, it was believed that he had nothing left of any value.
Later, when the nurses were going through his meager possessions, They found this poem. Its quality and content so impressed the staff that copies were made and distributed to every nurse in the hospital.

One nurse took her copy to Melbourne. The old man's sole bequest to posterity has since appeared in the Christmas editions of magazines around the country and appearing in mags for Mental Health. A slide presentation has also been made based on his simple, but eloquent, poem.

And this old man, with nothing left to give to the world, is now the author of this 'anonymous' poem winging across the Internet.

Cranky Old Man

What do you see nurses? . . .. . .What do you see?
What are you thinking .. . when you're looking at me?
A cranky old man, . . . . . .not very wise,
Uncertain of habit .. . . . . . . .. with faraway eyes?
Who dribbles his food .. . ... . . and makes no reply.
When you say in a loud voice . .'I do wish you'd try!'
Who seems not to notice . . .the things that you do.
And forever is losing . . . . . .. . . A sock or shoe?
Who, resisting or not . . . ... lets you do as you will,
With bathing and feeding . . . .The long day to fill?
Is that what you're thinking?. .Is that what you see?
Then open your eyes, nurse .you're not looking at me.
I'll tell you who I am . . . . .. As I sit here so still,
As I do at your bidding, .. . . . as I eat at your will.
I'm a small child of Ten . .with a father and mother,
Brothers and sisters .. . . .. . who love one another
A young boy of Sixteen . . . .. with wings on his feet
Dreaming that soon now . . .. . . a lover he'll meet.
A groom soon at Twenty . . . ..my heart gives a leap.
Remembering, the vows .. .. .that I promised to keep.
At Twenty-Five, now . . . . .I have young of my own.
Who need me to guide . . . And a secure happy home.
A man of Thirty . .. . . . . My young now grown fast,
Bound to each other . . .. With ties that should last.
At Forty, my young sons .. .have grown and are gone,
But my woman is beside me . . to see I don't mourn.
At Fifty, once more, .. ...Babies play 'round my knee,
Again, we know children . . . . My loved one and me.
Dark days are upon me . . . . My wife is now dead.
I look at the future ... . . . . I shudder with dread.
For my young are all rearing .. . . young of their own.
And I think of the years . . . And the love that I've known.
I'm now an old man . . . . . . .. and nature is cruel.
It's jest to make old age . . . . . . . look like a fool.
The body, it crumbles .. .. . grace and vigour, depart.
There is now a stone . . . where I once had a heart.
But inside this old carcass . A young man still dwells,
And now and again . . . . . my battered heart swells
I remember the joys . . . . .. . I remember the pain.
And I'm loving and living . . . . . . . life over again.
I think of the years, all too few . . .. gone too fast.
And accept the stark fact . . . that nothing can last.
So open your eyes, people .. . . . .. . . open and see.
Not a cranky old man .
Look closer . . . . see .. .. . .. .... . ME!!

Remember this poem when you next meet an older person who you might brush aside without looking at the young soul within. We will all, one day, be there, too!

PLEASE SHARE THIS POEM!

How to add funds to Paypal Account through Indian Banks

Can Indian Customers fund their paypal account through their Indian Bank accounts. If so how?

Pre-funding the PayPal account for the purpose of either sending money to another PayPal user or purchasing services or goods online is not an available feature for Indian PayPal accounts, as it would contradict our efforts to comply with the latest RBI guidelines, which disallows this. Therefore, when you initiate payment, you will only need a credit card to fund it.

And since any balance and all future payments into an Indian PayPal account may not be used for online purchases, these funds must then be transferred to the account holder's Indian bank account within 7 days from the receipt of confirmation from the buyer in respect of the goods or services.

PayPal is committed to working closely with the regulators and ensuring that PayPal complies with all applicable India regulations. Thus, to ensure compliance with the latest requirements set out in the notification of the Reserve Bank of India (“RBI Guidelines”) governing the processing and settlement of export-related receipts facilitated by online payment gateways:

1. Paypal no longer provide domestic payment service in India. This means that you are unable to send or receive payments from an Indian resident customer. However, you can still send and receive international payments: you can continue to use PayPal to shop online with over 8 million merchants internationally.

2. PayPal customers in India will not be able to send or receive payments for any export-related goods or services for an amount exceeding $3,000 USD per transaction. This is a per transaction limit applied to all online payment gateways processing transactions for Indian sellers and can neither be removed nor increased.
Once the website changes have taken effect, Indian sellers will no longer be able to receive greater than $3,000 or equivalent for a single transaction. Should the sender attempt payment exceeding $3,000 USD, they will encounter an error message on the webpage and the payment will not go through.

3. PayPal can no longer allow India based customers from reusing their balance for making payments. Thus, you will only be able to make a payment from a linked credit card. If you do not have a credit card linked to your PayPal account, you will be prompted to link one. And since any balance and all future payments into your PayPal account may not be used to buy goods or services online, these funds must then be transferred to your bank account in India within 7 days from the receipt of confirmation from the buyer in respect of the goods or services.

Hope this information will help my fellow Paypal custumers in India.

How to withdraw funds/money from Alertpay to a bank account in India

I have been searching for this solution for a long time. At last got this solution. This post explains about withdrawing funds from Alertpay through Bank Wire.
Withdraw through Bank Wire to a Bank Account in India.
A bank wire withdrawal is one of the methods of transferring your Alertpay funds to your bank.
Withdrawals by bank wire are processed within 3 - 6 business days (excluding weekends) of the request and are offered in the following currencies:•  US Dollars ($)•  Euro (€)•  GBP (£)Pleas
First your must first set up your bank account on AlertPay to perform transaction.
If you have not yet added your bank account, here are the steps:
1. Login to your AlertPay account.
2. Click on “Profile”.
3. Under “Financial”, click on “Bank Accounts”.
4. Select the country where your bank account is located and click on “Next”.
5. Select Bank Wire and click on “Next”.
6. Choose currency, enter bank details and click on “Next”.
7. Review details, accept any authorization requests and confirm

If you have already added your bank account for bank wire withdrawals, follow these steps to withdraw your funds:
1. Login to your AlertPay account.
2. Click on “Withdraw”.
3. Under “Electronic Funds”, select “Bank Wire”.
4. Enter amount to withdraw, transaction details and click on “Next”.
5. Review details and confirm.
I tried Bank Wire withdrawal to withdraw $59.87 USD to my bank account (ICICI Bank) in India. Alertpay deducted (charged) $15 (Fifteen dollars) as FEE for this transaction and deposited $44.87. But my local bank ICICI also charged me $5, then deposited the remaining $39.87 i.e. INR1,736.65 ($39.87) in my account. So, withdrawing Alertpay funds to a bank account in India is a very costly process. You should be ready to lose $20 of your withdrawal amount. e.g. If you request for a withdrawal of $100, you will get $80, after all these deductions. It took 6days to complete the whole process. I have requested withdrawal on 15th May, got paid on 20th May.
Hope this will help people who are searching for the details. Thanks for reading my post. please do share your experience in comments section, so that, it will be more helpful to my blog readers.
